The Bus Person / Assistant Server supports the service team by ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment that enhances the overall guest experience.
Position Summary:
The Bus Person / Assistant Server plays a key role in supporting servers and maintaining smooth front-of-house operations. This position ensures that tables are properly set, cleared, and reset quickly, while assisting with food delivery and guest needs. The role is essential in delivering a seamless and elevated dining experience.

Service Support Duties
- Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly and efficiently
- Assist servers with food and beverage delivery as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and restrooms
- Refill water, bread, and other table items as directed
- Stock service stations with necessary supplies (silverware, glassware, linens, etc.)
- Assist in polishing glassware, silverware, and plates
- Support opening and closing side work duties
- Respond promptly to guest requests in a courteous and professional manner
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen, and bar staff to ensure smooth service
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Experience & Education:
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, reach, and move quickly during service
