Description

Safety sensitive position regulated under the Dept. of Transportation, responsible for driving transit passenger vehicles on designated routes.

Starting pay $22.9444/hr.

Examples of Duties

Primary essential functions include but are not limited to:

• Drives Bus and/or Trolley as/when assigned;
• Provides courteous and timely service to transit and trolley customers.

Typical Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS (Required at time of application):

• High school diploma or GED; OR 3 months experience as bus driver or similar position. Equivalent amount of education/experience acceptable.
• Valid drivers license; Valid CDL, Class B or higher, with P endorsement preferred at time of application, and required after hire.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs., assist disabled passengers, and perform all other demands of the job satisfactorily.
• Minimum age 18
