Bus Driver - Cleaner, Messenger, or Maintainer
Syosset Central School District
Immediate Vacancy
The Syosset Central School District seeks a Bus Driver-Cleaner, Bus Driver-Messenger, or Bus Driver-Maintainer. This anticipated vacancy is a full-time, permanent Civil Service appointment. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
Possess a valid New York Commercial Drivers License (CDL) - Class B with Air Brakes, Passenger, School Bus endorsements
Possess a valid New York Driver's License, with no convictions for moving violations during the past year and appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated
Be at least 21 years of age.
Satisfy all requirements of Article 19-A of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law
Satisfy the requirements for School Bus Driver set forth in the Rules and Regulations of the New York State Commissioner of Education
Possess excellent communication skills
Ability to collaborate with a highly respected staff
Salary as per the Syosset Civil Service Employees' Association Contract
