The Bus/Van Driver is primarily responsible for the proper care and maintenance of buses and for the safety of all passengers; works with campus personnel to schedule trips as needed; files proper paperwork for travel; arranges for routine maintenance for vehicles and reports all mechanical problems to supervising campus personnel.
SALARY: Commensurate on Lurleen B. Wallace Community College local Salary Schedule L, at a rate of $15.60 per hour, $156 per day if over 8 hours but not an overnight trip, or $208 plus per diem for trips requiring a hotel stay for a maximum of 19 hours per week.

Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) with proper passenger class qualification, a clean driving accident record, and medical clearance to drive passenger vehicles.
