Role snapshot
- Serve as a front-line technical expert for Profire products, from first quote to post-install follow-up.
- Collaborate with Sales on customer initiatives, training sessions, and business development opportunities—both within and beyond oil and gas.
- Answer technical inquiries with complete documentation (time tickets, combustion reports) and issue weekly progress updates on open orders.
- Execute safe, precise field work across:
- Installations
- Burner Maintenance
- Combustion Analysis
- Warranty & Repair
- Provide timely customer support and coordinate after-hours/weekend call-outs when required.
- Ensure accurate service tickets and work orders; support month-end close and prompt invoicing.
- Drive profitability by correctly billing technician time for installs, maintenance, and service.
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers and Territory Reps; deliver training to installation partners on standards, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee technician inventory and parts lists; verify field work meets brand standards; log sales referrals; help scale the service team across the U.S. and Canada.
Qualifications
- Hands-on installation experience and strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- Technical degree/trade diploma or equivalent practical background.
- Team-oriented problem solver with cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Willing and able to travel (including cross-border).
License: Valid Driver's License required.
Travel: Travel will be required, as necessary, to support the business; must have the ability to travel across borders.
