About the Opportunity
HireCall is seeking a skilled Burn Table Operator for a reputable manufacturing facility located at the Port of Catoosa. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in metal fabrication who is looking for stable, long-term employment with competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate burn table equipment (plasma/oxy-fuel) to cut metal components to precise specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Set up machines, including selecting proper materials and settings
- Monitor cutting process to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Inspect finished parts for quality and conformance to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of burn table operating experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong background in manufacturing or metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring tools
- Familiarity with plasma and/or oxy-fuel cutting processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
