Family Medicine Physician

Join a well-established, high-volume outpatient practice seeking a Family Medicine physician who is comfortable providing comprehensive care across the lifespan. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative, team-based environment delivering full-spectrum primary care—from pediatrics through geriatrics—while benefiting from strong clinical support, flexible scheduling, and access to UVA Health system resources.
Position Highlights:
- Practice Type & FTE: High-volume outpatient family medicine practice | 1.0 FTE (36 patient-care hours/week)
- Schedule: Combination schedule with one long day (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and standard days ending at 4:30 PM; schedules structured to maintain 36 hours/week
- Patient Volume:
- Long day: 24–32 patients
- Regular day: 20–24 patients
- Half day: 11–13 patients
- Team & Support: Large, well-established group with approximately 20 providers
- Call & Coverage: Shared call across Manassas, Haymarket, and Bristow practices; supported by Envera triage service; on-call responsibility approximately 3–4 weeks per year
- Ancillary Services & Hospital Affiliation: Onsite lab services (LabCorp), nurse visits, Myriad cancer screening; affiliated with UVA Prince William Medical Center and UVA Haymarket Medical Center
Qualifications:
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine
- Licensure: Eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical license
