Decker Truck Line, Inc. has an opportunity available for an experienced individual to join our team as Buildings & Grounds Supervisor at our new Des Moines Terminal! Great working schedule of Monday-Friday 7-4pm or 8-5pm and on-call as needed!
Buildings & Grounds Responsibilities
Operate forklift, blowers, scrubbers, pressure washers and other tools and equipment as needed to clean and maintain the shop building
Routine and extensive grounds keeping and custodial care including:
Mowing the grass and landscape upkeep
Snow removal when needed
Light electrical and plumbing
Sweep, mop, polish floors
Paint shop areas as needed
Clean and organize all areas as needed
Restock supplies as needed
Remove trash and recyclables as needed
Special projects and other duties as assigned
Buildings & Grounds Qualifications
Previous directly-related experience
Motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 75lbs
Valid Drivers License
HVAC experience a plus
Prior Overhead Door Maintenance a plus
Pre-Employment Screening
