The role at a glance

• Title: Building Systems and HVAC Maintenance Specialist
• Location: Hauppauge, NY (on‑site); reports to the Facilities Manager
• Work model: Eligible for a remote work arrangement from your home; details provided during interviews

Do these challenges excite you?

• Keeping boilers, air compressors, air handlers, chillers, pumps/motors, HVAC units, waste treatment, RO/DI, and electrical/lighting systems running at peak performance.
• Owning preventive and corrective maintenance plans—and improving them to extend asset life and drive uptime.
• Inspecting buildings, grounds, and life‑safety systems; coordinating and closing out corrective actions.
• Managing strategic spare parts and purchasing replacements to avoid downtime.
• Coordinating and supervising external service vendors on site.

Do you have what it takes?

• 5+ years in facilities or maintenance roles.
• Mechanical know‑how: find and fix mechanical failures, service moving parts, conduct PMs, and support building systems.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills for wiring, components, and controls.

Physical and availability expectations

• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs; frequent hands‑on work; climbing, bending, stooping.
• High School Diploma.
• Reliable and punctual; willing to work short‑notice overtime and respond to off‑hours emergencies.
• Always operate safely and follow HSE policies and procedures.

Pay and perks

Base pay range: $72,000 – $93,000 (subject to change). This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
