We are seeking a several Building MEP engineers to perform design engineering for a variety of industrial buildings/facilities across multiple market sectors, due to growth in our Industrial and Transportation sectors. These positions are ideal for an experienced design engineer with a strong background in HVAC, piping, ventilation and plumbing systems, particularly in high-reliability, mission-critical environments that is interested in working on fast paced EPC projects with diverse engineering and construction teams. Building types include administration/office buildings, nuclear buildings, data centers/server rooms, battery storage, warehouses, distribution facilities, wastewater and water treatment facilities, hospitals, federal buildings, industrial process buildings, and transportation facilities such as bus/train stations and rail and maintenance facilities. We are looking for candidates with strong communication skills, leadership experience, strong MEP design skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals. You will be designing and managing fast-paced MEP designs for a diverse portfolio of projects, including coordination and collaboration with in-house project engineers and contractors to successfully execute building estimates, conceptual designs, and construction documents and administration.

District Overview
Kiewit Architectural & Engineering (A&E) delivers fully integrated design and engineering solutions for some of North America's most complex and high‑visibility infrastructure and building programs. Working hand‑in‑hand with Kiewit's construction operations, the district provides coordinated design‑build and EPC execution that reduces risk, accelerates delivery, and drives innovative, cost‑effective outcomes.
Powered by a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and designers, KAE focuses on creating high‑performance, resilient facilities across key growth markets including Federal, Aviation, Mission Critical, Healthcare, Sports & Entertainment, and Commercial Buildings. The team supports sophisticated projects in sectors such as government, nuclear, transportation/transit and education-delivering scalable, forward‑looking solutions tailored to each client's operational, regulatory, and long‑term needs.
Location
For mid career and Senior, this role can be based in any of the following offices: Lenexa Kansas office, Houston Texas office, or Lone Tree Colorado.
We will consider individuals with 12+ years experience, in Building MEP, for one or more of our market sectors for our Manhattan NY, Woodcliff Lake NJ, and Dallas/Fortworth locations that have experience leading projects and teams, with PE licensure. We offer relocation assistance to the Lenexa/Kansas City area (our Industrial headquarters) only.

Base Compensation: $100,000/yr - $160,000
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
