Description
This is a full-time, FLSA non-exempt position with Public Works located in Carson City, Nevada. Under immediate supervision, performs standard building and facility maintenance, and minor repair duties in buildings, facilities and adjacent grounds; interacts with and provides standard information to the public.
Employees may choose between the following:
Employer-Paid PERS: $22.7003 - $31.7805 hourly / $47,216.52 - $66,103.44 annually
Employee/Employer-Paid PERS: $27.3854 - $38.3396 hourly / $56,961.58 - $79,746.42 annually

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED; AND one (1) year of general maintenance/custodial experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience as determined by Human Resources.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Under Immediate Supervision - Incumbents at this level are closely supervised in essentially all aspects of their assigned work with the exception of routine and basic tasks. Work methods are generally prescribed in specific terms. They usually follow an established routine with general assignments, and their work is subject to frequent reviews. A position may involve repetition of a limited number of tasks that after initial training and review warrant only occasional supervisory review.
