Description
The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and performing
routine maintenance on company buildings, structures, and equipment. This role helps ensure a
clean, safe, and functional work environment for all employees.
Job Responsibilities
● Inspect buildings, structures, machinery, and equipment to ensure proper working
condition and safety
● Perform basic maintenance on plumbing and electrical systems
● Prepare and complete drywall repair and painting projects
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and supplies
● Perform minor repairs, including replacing fuses, light fixtures, bulbs, and switches
● Repair doors, windows, and exterior building components
● Build and repair wooden structures such as counters, benches, and partitions
● Follow all safe operating procedures when using tools, equipment, and materials
● Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and maintain certification
● Assist Maintenance Technicians with machinery repairs
● Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records
● Communicate daily with supervisors regarding maintenance updates and repair status
● Follow all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
