Partners Personnel is seeking a reliable and motivated Building Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain the safety, appearance, and overall functionality of our facility and surrounding grounds. This role supports a company that specializes in the manufacturing and installation of sports facility products, including netting, padding, and windscreens.
Job Title: Building Facilities Maintenance Technician (Hybrid Position)
Pay rate: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (negotiable dependent on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
This is a hybrid role that combines facilities maintenance responsibilities with support to warehouse and production operations as needed. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform light welding for minor fabrication, repairs, and shop projects
- Conduct basic preventative maintenance on equipment (e.g., grommet machines: cleaning, lubrication, minor part replacement)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, shop, parking areas, and common workspaces
- Perform minor building maintenance (light repairs, changing bulbs, tightening fixtures, etc.)
- Clean company vehicles weekly (interior/exterior) and monitor condition (oil, tire pressure, fuel, etc.)
- Remove trash, scrap, and recyclables in accordance with company procedures
- Ensure dumpsters are accessible, properly filled, and not over capacity for scheduled pickups
- Run errands and transport materials for warehouse operations and sales team
- Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas including parking lot and perimeter
- Identify and report safety hazards, damaged equipment, and supply needs
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain safe work practices
- Provide general support to warehouse and office teams as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of facilities maintenance, general labor, or related experience
- Mechanically inclined with experience using hand and power tools
- Light welding experience preferred
- Forklift certification or minimum 2 years of forklift experience
- Valid Georgia driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be insurable under company commercial auto policy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Background and motor vehicle record checks may be required
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 45-50 lbs. regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, pulling, and lifting
- Comfortable working in warehouse and outdoor conditions
