This position leads the design, construction, and implementation of advanced automation systems in occupied spaces including new installations and retrofits. This role is ideal for a technical expert who thrives on managing complex projects from concept to completion while ensuring operational excellence and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Serves as the department’s subject matter expert for BAS/Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS) systems, including equipment, protocols, building codes, IT integration, and troubleshooting.
- Takes full ownership of BAS/EMCS and HVAC capital projects—manages schedules, budgets, risks, and quality standards.
- Develops and reviews design requirements, approves plans, authors scope of work documents, and validates system performance.
- Oversees installation, commissioning, and ensures compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Applies strong IT programming, mechanical, and electrical problem-solving skills to deliver successful projects.
