JAX - Join our team as a Building Automation Project Engineer in Jacksonville and work on high-profile projects for clients such as Jaguars Sports Training Center and Universal Studios. You’ll integrate HVAC, lighting, energy management, and security systems into unified, high-performance environments while collaborating closely with our field operations team.
Tampa - Join our team as a Building Automation Project Engineer in Tampa and make an impact on large scale Hospital projects. You’ll work on integrating HVAC, lighting, energy management, and security systems into high-performance buildings, collaborating closely with field teams and clients.
Sunrise - Join our team as a Building Automation Project Engineer in Miami and support large scale medical projects. You’ll work on integrating HVAC, lighting, energy management, and security systems into high-performance buildings, collaborating closely with field teams and clients.

Entry Level: $70,000-$90,000
Experienced: $90,000-$110,000
Tampa:
Entry Level: $75,000-$96,000
Experienced: $96,000-$117,000
Sunrise
Entry Level: $70,000-$116,000
Experienced: $116,000-$135,000
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement building automation systems based on project needs
- Integrate HVAC, lighting, security, and energy platforms
- Create system schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences
- Program controllers, sensors, and automation devices
- Support final commissioning and provide technical assistance to field teams and end users
- Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and best practices
- Ensure projects meet safety codes and regulatory requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience with building automation systems (Niagara, Distech, ACAD preferred)
- Knowledge of protocols like BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks
- Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, energy, and security systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Degree in engineering or relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach as needed.
- Ability to walk active job sites, including climbing stairs and ladders and navigating uneven surfaces.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to wear required PPE during site visits.
