Topsider Homes designs, engineers, fabricates and ships high-end custom post & beam and panelized home packages for construction by local builders throughout the U.S. and abroad.
We are seeking a construction-literate, well-organized person to help identify, contact, screen and coordinate with builders for our clients’ projects.
This is an in-office position. No travel required.
Responsibilities
- Research and contact qualified residential builders in areas where our clients plan to build
- Use online builder databases, local builder associations and other resources to identify potential builders
- Explain Topsider’s post & beam and panelized building system to builders clearly and professionally
- Help secure builder interest and bids for client projects
- Coordinate communication among builders, clients and Topsider staff
- Respond to builder questions regarding plans, materials, logistics and construction details
- Maintain organized follow-up by phone, email and text
Background Needed
- Hands-on residential construction experience
- Ability to speak credibly with builders, contractors and clients
- Clear phone and written communication skills
- Organized, persistent and comfortable with follow-up
- Basic computer skills including email, internet research, Word and Excel
A construction management degree is helpful, but not required. Practical residential construction experience is more important.
This may be a good fit for someone with construction experience who wants broader responsibilities in a stable career setting, without continual relocation, jobsite travel or long absences from family and friends.
Compensation
From $70,000 to start, based on experience and capabilities.
