Job Summary
Mohave County Public Works Department is looking to fill the position of a Budget and Accreditation Manager.

Mohave County is seeking a Budget & Accreditation Manager to help lead the financial and operational success of our Public Works Department. In this leadership role, you will:
Develop and manage departmental budgets
Prepare financial analyses, reports, and long-range planning documents
Write and administer grants
Manage contracts and ensure fiscal accountability
Lead accreditation efforts and oversee policies and procedures
Partner with County departments, leadership, and external agencies
Support emergency management reimbursement and financial recovery efforts
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Financial Management, Accounting, Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field
Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in finance, budgeting, management, analysis, or public administration
Experience with policy development, project management, and contract administration
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Must pass pre-employment background screening.
Must possess a valid drivers license for operation of motor vehicles at the start of employment and maintain said license while employed in this position.
Compensation
Salary Range: Range 17/Steps 1-18 ($25.65-$42.41)
