STARTING SALARY: $2,424.47 Bi-Weekly. (In accordance with current spending restrictions, an internal promotion into the position will be filled at the minimum of the pay grade or up to 5% of the employee's current rate, whichever is higher.)
DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will oversee the preparation and management of the approved operating budget, fixed capital outlay, and approved salary rate for assigned budget entities.
Assist in the Legislative Budget Requests; process budget amendment requests; analyze personnel actions for the assigned budget entities.
Develop monthly spending plans in consultation with the program area budget liaisons and provide technical assistance as needed.
Coordinate with program areas on budget related training needs.
Responsible for allotments, reconciliation and quality control. Candidate must be able to create spreadsheets that display budget details, budget information and expenditure details.
Candidate must be able to communicate with peers, internal and external stakeholders, organize and prioritize workload to complete assignments on a timely basis.
