Under the supervision of the Chief Business Official the Westlake Charter School Budget & Accounting Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of confidential, specialized back-office work focusing on payroll and benefits processing, retirement reporting and leave coordination, digital recordkeeping, and may support accounts payable/receivable functions. This role ensures Westlake Charter School's operational processes are timely, accurate, compliant, and audit-ready. The Budget & Accounting Specialist will also work closely with other departments on fiscal compliance, reporting, expenditure control, budget development and reconciliation, and exercises independent judgment in managing payroll with minimal oversight.
