Job Description:
A successful commercial lightning/electrical company based out of the Landover, MD area is actively searching for a Bucket Truck Technician to join their team. This company specializes in exterior lighting maintenance/general electrical service/LED conversions/sign maintenance.
Ideal technicians must be experienced in commercial lighting or sign installation.

Job Details:

• Commercial lighting repairs (Parking Lot lighting/exterior/interior)
• Must be able to or willing to learn to work on all LED/neon/Fluorescent systems typical to signage lighting.
• Signage installation experience is a plus.
• Trouble shooting lighting control systems and components such as time clock, contactors, and relays.
• Install basic electrical equipment and systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Class B CDL w/air brakes is a must or willing to get endorsed immediately.
• Bucket truck/Aerial equipment experience is a must.
• Commercial electrical/lighting experience is a must.
• Experience in the sign trade is a plus.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must successfully pass a background check
• Reliable Transportation with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must have a professional/friendly/positive attitude.

Physical Abilities:

• Lifts at least 50 pounds at one time and 25 pounds for an extended period of time.
• Relocates a stepladder without assistance.
• Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.
• Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
• May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
