Production Director

The Production Director leads the people, systems, and culture that elevate every audio, visual, and production experience across all campuses, ensuring consistency, excellence, and impact in every environment, with special attention to the Sunday experience. This isa leadership role. The measure of success is not personal technical skill. It is a team that is prepared, a room that is consistent, and a department that does not depend on any one person to function. The ideal candidate will lead with confidence, clarity, and accountability, taking full ownership of their roles and outcomes. This person will also cultivate a culture of trust, care, and shared passion for both volunteers and staff, as well as establish highly effective workflows built to scale, enabling sustainable growth across all campuses.

Essential Responsibilities:

Own the Sunday Experience

  • Oversee production quality across in-room and broadcast at all campuses
  • Ensure every role has a prepared operator before the weekend begins
  • Hold the standard of excellence that reflects the mission of BRAVE Church
  • Other duties as assigned

Lead Production Department

  • Directly lead the Audio, Video, and Lighting Directors
  • Hold directors accountable to recruiting, training, and readiness within their departments
  • Build a culture where directors own their rooms and their teams
  • Partner with the Production Manager to ensure execution, scheduling, and campus readiness

Build Systems and Workflows

  • Develop and maintain documented processes for all production operations
  • Oversee technical standards, equipment maintenance, and system documentation across campuses
  • Create simple planning and intake systems to reduce last-minute requests and reactive work
  • Manage equipment procurement and inventory in coordination with the Purchasing team

Align with Church Leadership

  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with Worship and Creative teams
  • Ensure production is part of the planning process, not just the execution
  • Represent the production department in cross-ministry planning
  • Participate in church-wide events, including but not limited to First Tuesday and 21 Days of Prayer
  • Lead or co-lead a BRAVE Cadre

Lead Hiring and Team Development

  • Define job descriptions and onboarding processes for all production roles
  • Define clear roles for volunteers and staff to ensure consistency and protect critical positions
  • Build and sustain a volunteer pathway from shadow to ownership
  • Model excellence, work ethic, and servant leadership for the entire team
Experience and Knowledge Required:

Minimum 3 years leading a production team in a live or broadcast environment

Demonstrated ability to build systems, develop volunteers, and lead culture

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to build and manage a team, a schedule, and competing priorities without close supervision

Experience in a multisite church production environment

Familiarity with broadcast infrastructure and live production workflows

Familiarity with ProPresenter, Ross Dashboard, Dante, BlackMagic VideoHub, and various projector control interfaces preferred but not required
