ATL26, the City of Atlanta's broadcast channel, is seeking an IT Engineer to support the implementation of two-factor authentication (2FA) across its network in coordination with vendor Illumio. This role will assist with securing systems, ensuring proper integration, and minimizing disruption to ongoing broadcast operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support deployment and configuration of 2FA across servers, endpoints, and networked devices.
- Collaborate with Illumio and internal teams during pre-install and installation.
- Ensure compatibility of authentication measures with broadcast and AV systems
- Troubleshoot authentication, access, and system integration issues.
- Maintain system uptime and operational continuity during implementation
Qualifications:
- Experience with server environments (Windows/Linux) and network security practices.
- Familiarity with AV/broadcast equipment and IP-based systems.
- Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) and multi-factor authentication tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
