Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects
Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop detailed takeoffs
Solicit, analyze, and compare subcontractor and supplier bids
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and design teams during preconstruction
Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering suggestions
Maintain cost databases and track historical pricing trends
Assist with bid submissions, scope reviews, and contract negotiations

Proven experience as an Estimator with a Commercial General Contractor
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore, or similar)
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple bids and tight deadlines
