Join us. **Job Description** AECOM is seeking a **Bridge Design CADD Technician III** to work on a Part Time basis based in Orange, CA. to work on exciting local, regional, and national projects. This Part Time position can work up to 19 hours per week in a as needed basis. Ideal for a retired or semi-retired Bridge Design Professional wanting to continue their career and influence future generations of Bridge CADD professionals. **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Performs a variety of tasks in support of the engineering staff. + Primary focus is Civil Engineering CADD for bridges and other structural projects. + Monitors and documents conformance with quality, performance, safety, and/or code requirements. + Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining project documentation. + General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. + Performs routine duties; viewed as fully competent within limits of experience. + Performs complex CADD assignments and coordinates CADD drawing production in support of the CADD manager. + Perform advanced applications, scale and edit assignments involving the use of computer aided design and drafting equipment and other graphics software (e.g. CADD software) to achieve set results and deadlines. + Digitize or trace sketches or concepts from designers using CADD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation. + Decisions made with general understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. + May lead less experienced drafters. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + HS + 4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Ability to pass MVR check + traditional background screening process. **Preferred Qualifications** : + Demonstrated expertise using CADD software. (MicroStation, AutoCAD). + Bentley Microstation Experience 8+ years or more. + Bentley Openroads Experience Preferred + Working knowledge of OpenBridge Modeler. **Additional Information** + All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. + No relocation offered with this opportunity. + Sponsorship is not available with this opportunity.
