When you join RadNet as a Breast Care Coordinator, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
You Will:
Schedule ultrasound guided biopsies
Obtain and scan pathology results into eRad
Coordinate addendum requests with physicians
Contact patients with negative results
Fax results when necessary and coordinate with appropriate physician
Resolve lab work requests in eRad
Be present when and where biopsies are performed as site locations
Greets and registers patients in a friendly and service oriented manner including review exam to be performed.
Aid in prepping the exam room.
Assist with post procedure follow up
Responds to patient’s minor questions and concerns, and refer to supervisor when necessary, in an expedient manner.
Maintains awareness of temperament/mood of patients in lobby in order to ensure optimal service experience and curtail any frustrations or communication that could affect the experience of other patients.
Uses clerical skills (e.g. filing, organizing, process incoming mail, etc.).
Provides management with reports and logs when required.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:
Must have one of the following: a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Possesses and utilizes excellent customer service skills, strong public relations skills, and exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
Must be detail-oriented and organized, possess clerical skills, and have the ability to interact timely and accurately.
Proficient in eRad
Ability to relieve patients of anxiety through calm demeanor and reassurance
Improve workflow to limit backlogs, extended patient wait times, etc.
