## Morning Hospitality and Room Attendant **Pecan Tree Inn - Beaufort, NC** Pecan Tree Inn is seeking a dependable, energetic, and guest-focused **Morning Hospitality and Room Attendant**to help create an exceptional breakfast and guest experience at our charming historic inn in downtown Beaufort. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, cooking and presentation, organization, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests. The Morning Hospitality and Kitchen Lead is responsible for overseeing breakfast preparation and service while helping ensure guests start their day with an outstanding experience. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ### Position Type Part-Time Morning shifts required ### Typical Schedule - Early mornings, typically beginning around **6:450-7:00 AM** - Weekends and some holidays required - Approximately **20-30 hours per week** depending on occupancy and season ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ## Responsibilities ### Kitchen and Breakfast Service - Prepare and present breakfast for inn guests - Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen organization - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas - Set up and break down breakfast service each morning - Monitor inventory and notify management of needed supplies - Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely and professional manner ### Hospitality and Guest Experience - Welcome and interact with guests during breakfast service - Provide attentive, friendly, and professional customer service - Assist with guest requests and answer questions about the inn and local area - Help create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for guests - Support smooth morning operations throughout the property ### Leadership Responsibilities - Help oversee morning operations and maintain daily standards - Communicate effectively with innkeepers and housekeeping team - Identify and solve small operational issues proactively ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ## Qualifications - Previous hospitality, food service, caf, restaurant, or bed and breakfast experience preferred - Comfortable working in a kitchen environment - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Friendly, professional, and guest-oriented personality - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced morning setting - Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated - Food safety knowledge is a plus ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ## Physical Requirements - Ability to stand for extended periods - Ability to lift up to 25 lbs - Ability to perform cleaning, changing of bed and room linens, room cleaning services, food prep, and light kitchen duties ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ## Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ## About Pecan Tree Inn Located in the heart of historic Beaufort, NC, Pecan Tree Inn is known for warm hospitality, beautiful accommodations, and memorable guest experiences.
