Title: Brazing
FLSA: Non-Exempt

General Summary:

The coil brazer and Header Brazer are responsible for brazing coils and headers per blueprints before sending the coils to the next steps in the process.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Identify and prioritize what work is to be performed using SAP

·        Inspect the quality of the coil by checking hairpins, fins, and overall aesthetics of the coil, and cleaning off any excess oil

·        Braze the coil joints and connections so that they are leak-free

·        Per the print, attach headers and braze accordingly

·        Ensure the quality of brazes and that all joints and connections are brazed before sending to the quality test tank to test

·        Confirm out in SAP

Job Qualifications:

·        Brazing or welding experience, preferred

·        Detail-oriented

·        Work independently

·        Blueprint reading skills

·        The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions

·        Good communication skills

Physical Requirements for the job

·        Ability to move at least 50lbs

·        Ability to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per day

·        Wear the necessary PPE for the position
