Description:

• The work is focused on consumer insights, assortment planning, Go to Market, and product management activities. Ensure merchandised assortments allow appropriate segmentation, deliver differentiation of the market place and drive incremental growth Finalize all category assortment plans and gain resolution against issues on flow, pricing and distribution decisions Work to ensure assortment category vision is driven to the retail floor and that end state is profitable consumer right assortments Optimize the planning and placement of products in the appropriate format

Desired Candidate Profile :

• Minimum required years of experience: 5+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, and planning for footwear or apparel
• Education requirements: Bachelors or equivalent experience

Must have skills:

• Go to Market Product creation
• Uses marketplace influence and consumer insights to create strategic product line plans, determines the shape of the line

Nice to have skills:

• Highly cross functional communications with - Upstream product, design, geo merchants, buying and assorting teams
• Has worked with Geo teams
• Has a strong interest in Footwear

Software/technical requirements:

• We''re looking for a Merchant to support the Global Men''s NSW Footwear - Air Max business. This role will build help craft the future strategy, develop the long-range line plans, and create seasonal assortments to help drive this important silo within our portfolio.

What you will work on:

• As a Merchant on the Global Merchandising team, you''ll utilize marketplace data, consumer insights, foresight, and hindsight to influence strategy and create strategic line plans to serve our consumer. You''ll partner closely with product creation partners to ensure our product lines are aligned to the opportunities that have been identified. You''ll lead the management of our merchandising KPIs through robust analysis of retail insights and performance. You''ll build positive and trustworthy relationships with your partners to build and land the line plans and seasonal assortments that meet the needs of consumers and take them to a new places.

Who you will work with:

• You will work closely with global and geo merchants and cross-functional teams within product creation, planning and brand marketing. We also work with finance, operations and the insights/analytics teams; relying on business reporting for your area which includes quantitative and qualitative metrics on sales, inventory, consumer behaviors and trend.

What you bring:

• Bachelor''s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years experience of merchandising and/or product creation experience, in a vertical or wholesale environment
• Footwear, apparel and/or equipment merchandising experience
• Understanding of retail key performance indicators and profit based metrics
• Strong strategy building skills that shape the future of the business
