Position Summary:
The Brand Director serves as the strategic business leader for pH-D Feminine Health, one of the country’s leading women’s health and feminine care brands. This role owns the long-term brand vision, annual business strategy, consumer positioning, product portfolio, innovation pipeline and commercial priorities required to drive sustainable, profitable growth.
Acting as the voice of the consumer and steward of the brand, the Brand Director translates consumer, cultural, retail, healthcare professional and category insights into clear growth strategies. This leader balances long-term brand equity with the speed, experimentation and data-driven decision-making required in today’s rapidly evolving marketing environment.
The Brand Director works in close partnership with the Director of Integrated Marketing. The Brand Director defines consumer opportunity, strategic priorities, positioning, messaging hierarchy, commercial objectives and measures of success. The Integrated Marketing team translates those priorities into coordinated execution across paid media, social media, creators, eCommerce, Amazon, TikTok Shop, retail media, public relations, events and strategic partnerships.
The Brand Director also leads and develops the pH-D brand management team and serves as a key cross-functional partner to Sales, Innovation, Clinical, Regulatory, Creative, Operations, Finance and Executive Leadership.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the general manager and strategic leader of the pH-D brand, maintaining a holistic view of brand performance across retail, Amazon, DTC, social commerce, and healthcare professional channels.
- Develop and own the annual and three-to-five-year brand growth strategy, including target consumers, positioning, value proposition, messaging, and strategic priorities.
- Translate company growth objectives into clear brand, product, portfolio, and channel strategies while protecting the consistency and integrity of the pH-D brand.
- Serve as the organization’s leading authority on the pH-D consumer, using research, social listening, search trends, product reviews, retailer insights, and other consumer signals to identify needs and growth opportunities.
- Monitor trends within women’s health, feminine care, wellness, retail, media, and consumer behavior to strengthen differentiation and market leadership.
- Own the innovation, renovation, and portfolio roadmap, guiding product opportunities from consumer need and business case development through commercialization readiness.
- Partner with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, Finance, and Sales to evaluate scientific support, claims, feasibility, pricing, margin, consumer appeal, and retailer potential.
- Define channel-specific strategies for mass retail, drug, grocery, Amazon, DTC, TikTok Shop, and healthcare professional channels, including assortment, pricing, promotion, and positioning recommendations.
- Develop strategic briefs for major campaigns, launches, and commercial initiatives that clearly define the consumer, business objective, key message, reason to believe, channel role, and measures of success.
- Partner with the Director of Integrated Marketing to develop annual and quarterly marketing plans, evaluate performance, and determine when results require changes to messaging, investment, activation, or broader brand strategy.
- Manage the pH-D marketing budget and contribute to P&L management, forecasting, annual planning, and investment decisions.
- Monitor brand and business performance across revenue, profitability, market share, household penetration, distribution, retail velocity, repeat purchase, brand awareness, and innovation results.
- Use modern consumer intelligence and AI-enabled tools to accelerate research, identify patterns, strengthen strategic briefs, and improve planning while maintaining appropriate judgment around regulated and scientific communications.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Brand, Integrated Marketing, Creative, Sales, Regulatory, Clinical, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Representing pH-D in executive planning and major commercial decisions, ensuring strategies reflect scientific credibility, regulatory requirements, and consumer relevance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the pH-D brand management team by establishing clear roles, decision rights, performance expectations, and accountability for business results.

Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive CPG brand management and business leadership experience, including experience leading a meaningful brand or portfolio.
- Experience in women’s health, personal care, OTC, wellness, consumer health or another science-backed and regulated category strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build brand strategy while delivering measurable revenue, profitability and market-share growth.
- Strong experience leading consumer-driven innovation from opportunity identification through commercialization.
- Ability to interpret consumer, syndicated, retailer, eCommerce and digital-behavior data and turn it into business decisions.
- Strong understanding of the modern marketing ecosystem, including social commerce, creators, retail media, Amazon, DTC and performance marketing.
- Experience working effectively in a structure where Brand owns strategy and Integrated Marketing owns activation.
- Working knowledge of AI-enabled research, planning and productivity tools, with the judgment required to use them responsibly.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget management, forecasting, pricing, margin and P&L exposure.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams without relying solely on direct authority.
- Strong executive communication and presentation capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to create clarity, make decisions and move quickly in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment.
- Proven team leadership, coaching and talent-development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
- Travel for this role may be required up to 20%
