GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for the supervision and oversight of assigned Henry Ford at Home departments, programs, and staff. Coordinates services for clients receiving health care products and services at home. Responsible for the formulation and recommendation of policies and procedures related to assigned departments and/or programs. Evaluates, assesses, and recommends improvements in department process, programs, and services. May supervise the activity of the department in the manager's absence.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Associate degree in nursing required.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Requires a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible nursing experience, one (1) year of which is in a home care, hospice, or home infusion operations.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Analytical ability required to evaluate the effectiveness of Home Health Care policies and procedures and to make recommendations for improvement. Verbal/written skills required to effectively present issues, communicate with others and clearly summarize corrective actions required.
  • Interpersonal skills required to provide guidance and supervision and act as resource person to staff.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

  • Current licensure by the State of Michigan as a Registered Nurse.
