What you’ll do


You’ll keep the branch running day-to-day: answer calls, route requests, process paperwork, and keep records accurate for policyholders, candidates, and the office team.


Responsibilities


  • Open, sort, and distribute mail; prepare outgoing Home Office mail

  • Answer phones, take clear messages, and handle basic questions (policyholders + candidates)

  • Send and track emails so requests don’t get lost

  • Enter and verify data in branch systems; keep files updated and accurate

  • Log insurance applications and flag missing info before submission

  • Complete verification sheets for required company documents

  • Support agents/managers with printing, scanning, filing, and supply inventory

Skills & requirements


  • Comfortable with Word, Excel, email, and calendar scheduling

  • Accurate typing/data entry (you catch errors before they become problems)

  • Clear communication on phone + email, with a steady front-desk presence

  • Can juggle priorities without constant supervision

  • On-time attendance (this role supports the whole office)

  • Comfortable handling confidential information
