What You'll Do As A Branch Operations Supervisor:
In partnership with Branch Operations leadership, you will oversee daily branch operations and lead Branch Associates and Tellers to achieve branch goals.
Team Member Leadership:
Collaborate with the Branch Manager to attract, hire, coach, and engage team members.
Serve as a culture agent, reinforcing our mission, vision, and core values.
Partner with team members to support career path development.
Manage scheduling, time-off requests, performance coaching, and daily workflow.
Stay actively engaged with the team to maintain a pulse on branch activities.
Branch Operations Leadership:
Support Branch Manager in achieving branch goals.
Be a subject matter expert in branch operations with emphasis on fraud and loss mitigation.
Conduct periodic audits of safety deposit boxes and spot audits of transactions.
Recommend process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Assist team members in resolving complex member issues.
Coordinate volunteer events to expand Credit Union reach.
Act as Branch Manager in their absence.
Other Duties:
Comply with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering, and Member Due Diligence Procedures.
Complete compliance and career development training as assigned.
Act as a Notary Public and provide Medallion Signature Guarantee services when needed.
Lead and delegate special projects as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must Haves as a Branch Operations Supervisor:
Skills: Servant Leadership, Relationship Building, Exceptional Verbal & Written Communication, Complex Problem Solving, Coaching & Upskilling.
Experience: 2+ years of credit union or banking experience in a branch operations role.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Nice to Haves as a Branch Operations Supervisor:
Bilingual in Spanish & English.
