Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Related experience in a financial institution
- Two years of Lending Experience
Employee Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for assisting with marketing and business development in the local community and surrounding areas.
- Responsible for new member recruitment.
- Responsible for meeting branch goals for membership and loan growth.
- Supervises daily operations and assists with the work schedule.
- Directly supervises branch employees and ensures they are well-trained in all areas of their jobs.
- Apply policies and procedures set for the branch. Ensures that the branch complies with regulations and procedures set forth by the credit union and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor branch activity, including the number of transactions, new accounts, and other activity as directed.
- Ensures members are promptly and professionally served.
- Solve problems and make decisions independently within established policies and guidelines.
- Perform duties in branch positions as needed.
- Approve checks that exceed the limits set for the head teller.
- Ensure that all branch transactions are balanced at the close of each day.
- Maintains proper cash controls. Perform teller and vault cash audits.
- Assist the lending department as instructed by the Chief Lending Officer.
- Represent the credit union in branch networking opportunities.
- Seek ways to improve branch operations and productivity and to meet established goals.
- Open and close the building.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
