Summary:
The Branch Admin Manager is a key leadership role that reports to the Branch General Manager. The Branch Admin Mgr. manages and performs administrative, accounting and inventory functions at a distribution facility. The Branch Admin Manager is responsible for: invoicing, stock receiving, shipping, accounts payable / receivable, and time clock approval. The Branch Admin Mgr. works closely with the Sales and Operations leadership, Corporate Finance & Accounting, HR, customers, vendors, and other support personnel to ensure process integrity and superior customer service.

What You'll Do:
Manages the administrative functions of a distribution center by providing excellent customer service, ensuring data integrity and timely processing of transactionsCollaborate with and foster a good working relationship with Sales and Operations teamsTimely and accurate processing of sales orders, credit memos, PO transactions utilizing relevant resources in A/R as neededInventory - accuracy of inventory related data in Agility from receiving to cycle counts to inventory adjustmentsAccounts Receivable- Partner with Credit and A/R for setup of new accounts and managing past due accountsAccounts Payable- Ensure adherence to expense Chart of Authority, timely completion of A/P reconciliation, daily invoicing for warehouse inventory and direct billingAssociate onboarding, time approval, and central point of contact for communicationsWorks with branch sales team to ensure orders are processed and releasedReviews all stock received, purchase orders and computer reports for accuracyCoordinates with Operations management on all rail and truck shipments.Leads team; selects/hires; develops objectives; coaches and evaluates performanceEnsures direct reports obtain applicable training and development opportunities to enhance performance, development, and contributions to the companyHolds direct reports accountable for individual and team performance.Addresses performance issues appropriately and timely

BS / BA Degree in related field preferred6-8 years experience preferredStrong knowledge of finance and accounting transactions in a warehousing environment / distribution centerStrong knowledge and experience in inventory control, material/stock handling/storage, and building productsMust be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-taskStrong problem analysis/ resolution, organization, time management, communication and interpersonal skillsPrefer process improvement and operating efficiency knowledgeProficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software and relevant tools / technology

The salary range provided is a good-faith estimate based on the position requirements and market data. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and other job-related considerations. BlueLinx also offers a comprehensive benefits package including health care, dental, vision, life and disability insurance starting the first day of the month, 15 days of paid time off that start accruing your first day, and 8 paid holidays per year.
