SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Brake Press Operator in the Irving, TX area.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation starting at $20 + an hour. Available shift Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Brake Press Operator Responsibilities
- Receives 14-guage and 16-guage metal from the punch press station and bends/forms per the sequencing indicated.
- Checks height, depth and other tolerances using calipers, gauges or tape measure.
- General understanding of bend sequences, tooling, back gauges, and perform QC checks as required.
- Monitors work schedule to achieve production requirements as indicated daily.
- Constant lifting, twisting, and standing.
- Need to be willing to take on tasks beyond brake press operations as a viable member of a team.
Brake Press Operator Qualification- Position requires 1-2 years of related experience.
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Be able to work under minimal supervision
- Cincinnati or Salvagnini type of machinery experience preferred out not required.
