The Wisconsin Heights School District is seeking an Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 Season.

At Wisconsin Heights, we encourage all students to participate in Purposed-Based Athletics to find their people and a place to call home during their years at school. While the end goal in each team may be a conference, regional, or state championship, those titles are just feathers in a team's cap. The real accomplishments lie in the growth of our student-athletes, in who they are as people through hard work, tough conversations, and team building. The successes of our programs extend far beyond the scoreboard.

The successful candidate for this position will preferably have experience working with high school student-athletes and have advanced knowledge of the fundamentals of the sport. A focus on building relationships with student-athletes and transparent communication is of the utmost importance. Other duties and responsibilities include demonstrating a high level of dependability, organization, respect, and sportsmanship.

Other qualifications include:

  • Ability to work with the youth program and create a cohesive strategy & development of fundamentals from high school down to the youth level
  • An encouraging courtside manor
  • Ability to teach and assign active roles to all players for every game
  • A commitment to work diligently with the coaching staff and school personnel to assist student-athletes in maximizing their potential both academically and athletically

This position will work collaboratively with the Head Varsity Coach to project a goal-oriented philosophy for success.
