The Equine/Recreational Coordinator of Boulder Crest Foundation is responsible to the Executive Director for the feeding, care coordination, medical appointments, and overall wellness for our 4 horses onsite, covered horse arena, and 3 acres of pasture to include mucking pastures, fence repair, grooming. Additionally, Equine/Rec. coordinator is responsible for planning, preparing, maintenance of supplies, and coordinating recreational activities (i.e. archery, hiking, kayaking, fishing) and equine-based programs for guests of the Retreat. Through hands-on interaction with guests using outdoor recreational and equine activities, the Equine/Recreational Coordinator helps guests improve mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing; reduce depression, stress, and anxiety; build confidence; reinforce effective social skills; boost creativity and have fun.
