We are seeking a Bookkeeper for a long-term temporary position that could go temp to hire.

Location: Placentia
Hours 7:00am to 4:00PM
Fully onsite
Pay: $30-35 per hour

Hot Buttons: Must have strong Excel skills, including vlookup/pivot tables.

Duties for the Bookkeeper:
  • Process and maintain the general ledger, including recording purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
  • Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and account reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports including balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash flow statements
  • Administer and process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 45 employees, including employee setup, deductions, and tax setup
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff to ensure accuracy and timely processing
  • Review payment approvals and monitor aging reports
  • Assist with audit preparation and tax-related support as needed
  • Maintain organized filing systems and perform related administrative duties
Requirements for the Bookkeeper:
  • 3-5 years of accounting and payroll experience
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
  • Experience processing payroll from start to finish
  • Strong Excel skills required, including formulas and reconciliations
  • ERP system experience required; M1 ERP experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a professional office environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
