Qualifications:
0-2 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a comparable accounting role
Proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
MS Office Suite
Solid understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and ledgers
Ability to work independently, multitask, prioritize effectively, and stay organized
Must be able to commute to and work from our downtown Boston office in person every day
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/economics
Progress towards CPA certification
Experience with Bill.com or any other AR/AP software and workflows
Familiarity with intercompany transactions and consolidation across related entities
QuickBooks Online Certifications
Record financial transactions accurately and efficiently in Intuit Enterprise Suite/QuickBooks Online
Clean up and manage QuickBooks data management daily
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivables functions, including invoicing, payments, and follow-ups
Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial data
Generate financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end close activities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and respond to inquiries in a professional, timely manner
