Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
This position is performed in a professional office setting within a secure facility supporting Department of Defense operations. The receptionist will interact regularly with employees, leadership, clients, and government personnel. The environment requires discretion, professionalism, and adherence to security protocols at all times. The role involve may periods of high activity and requires multitasking in a front-facing position. Occasional exposure to sensitive or classified discussions and materials is possible; therefore, situational awareness and confidentiality are essential.
- Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday during core business hours (8:00am - 4:00pm)
- Work may occasionally require flexibility for early arrivals, late departures, or shift coverage
- This is an on-site position and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work due to access control and visitor management responsibilities

Exigo provides a wide range of advisory and assistance solutions in Architecture, Engineering and Management for National Security Space customers. Headquartered in Colorado Springs CO, Exigo provides services to the Government in El Segundo CA, Boulder CO, Denver CO, Colorado Springs CO, and Albuquerque NM
Desired Shift Schedules:
· Morning Shift: 0730--1230
· Afternoon Shift: 1200--1700
· Pass-Down Overlap: 1200--1230 daily
Position Duties:
Exigo Corporation is seeking a professional, security-minded Front Desk Receptionist to cover front desk operations during business hours through a two-shift model. Each part-time receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, government officials, and partners, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment that aligns with Exigo's mission-first culture and facility security protocols.
Both positions are critical in maintaining seamless day-to-day operations at a secure defense facility. A 30-minute pass-down overlap between shifts ensures smooth communication and continuity. These roles require discretion, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills in a highly structured and mission-driven setting.

Roles and Responsibilities:
· Greet and manage all visitors in accordance with Exigo's facility access procedures
· Verify security clearances and coordinate with the Facility Security Officer (FSO) for classified/unclassified meeting access
· Maintain visitor logs, issue and retrieve visitor badges, and ensure escort compliance when required
· Communicate any unresolved or pending visitor issues during pass-down
· Meeting and Hospitality Support:
· Prepare and reset conference rooms before and after meetings
· Order and set up refreshments or hospitality items as requested by meeting hosts
· Maintain stock of hospitality and administrative supplies
· Ensure front office and lobby areas remain clean, organized, and presentable throughout the day
· Answer, screen, and route incoming calls professionally
· Accept, log, and distribute mail and packages
· Monitor email inboxes for facility-related requests or updates
· Support general admin tasks such as data entry filing, and front office coordination
· Order office supplies/snacks
· Check mailroom daily for mail and packages
· Compliance and Culture:
· Enforce security protocols and report any anomalies or unauthorized access attempts
· Maintain a courteous and mission-aligned presence, upholding Exigo's culture of professionalism and service
· Provide clear communication during shift pass-downs to ensure continuity of front desk operations
Qualifications:
· High school diploma required; some college preferred
· At least 2 years of experience in reception, administrative, or secure facility support
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures
· Familiarity with DoD visitor access processes and clearance validation is preferred
· U.S. citizenship is required
· Must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
