Fred Martin Collision Center is a high-volume shop looking for a Body Shop Technician to handle mechanical support, inspections, and vehicle readiness.
This is not a stand-around role. If you’re dependable, move with urgency, and want steady hours, you’ll do well here.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Test systems and components to ensure proper operation
- Identify mechanical issues and isolate problem areas
- Road test vehicles and verify repairs
- Check and refill fluids as needed
- Maintain proper tire pressure and perform basic maintenance
- Install oil drain plugs and filters as needed
- Support the shop by keeping vehicles ready for delivery
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment daily
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic diagnostic ability
- Comfortable working on a variety of vehicles
- Ability to stay efficient in a fast-paced shop
- Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
