Auto Body Shop Manager Position

An established dealership is seeking an experienced Auto Body Shop Manager to join our team!

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Examine damaged vehicles and estimate repair costs
  • Train, develop, and motivate the Body Shop staff, monitoring employee performance
  • Forecast and achieve goals and objectives for the Body Shop
  • Ensure excellent customer service to promote customer satisfaction
  • Maintain daily sales and production records as required by management
  • Develop and manage department budgets, keeping management informed of deviations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters
  • Foster good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Handle customer complaints promptly and respectfully
  • Maintain regional CSI scores
  • Ensure proper repair techniques and safe, functioning shop equipment
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA
  • Achieve Body Shop goals
  • Demonstrate core values in interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

  • Must have Body Shop experience; dealership experience preferred
  • Energetic and eager to grow our customer base
  • Established relationships with insurance companies
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a process-driven environment
  • Self-motivated, high-energy personality with a positive attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Interactions: Daily interactions with customers, parts associates, sales and service managers, technicians, the GM, and insurance adjusters.
