Body Repair Technician

Knight Transportation is Hiring!

We need a Body and Repair Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. Experience in fiberglass repair, Bondo, sanding, paint refinishing, plastics, and panel replacement with diesel equipment preferred but not required. Location: 5601 W Buckeye Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85043

Pay: $21 - $29

Shift: Monday- Friday, 7:00 am- 4:30 pm

Requirements

• 1+ Years of Body Repair Experience or comparable education
• Valid Drivers License
• Comprehensive background check
• Pre-Employment Hair Drug Screen (Marijuana is a disqualification of employment)

Additional Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent
• Experience in fiberglass repair, Bondo, sanding, paint/paint refinishing, plastics, and panel replacement preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and CSA Regulations
• Experience with on-the-job training
• Diploma in vehicle maintenance from vocational or trade school a plus
• Possess customer service & computer skills
• Ability to read & understand repair manuals
• Ability to multitask & work as a team
• Must possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results required

Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Perform bodywork repair with minimum supervision
• Perform troubleshooting on minor problems
• Ensure proper care of company tools/equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Maintain a positive & proactive work environment
