The Board provides strategic leadership, governance, and helps build the organization’s resources as it celebrates 20 years of advocacy. The ideal candidate will serve as an ambassador to connect the organization with passionate supporters, enhance its public profile through media contacts, and leverage extensive experience in business, public policy, or the nonprofit sector.
Commitment includes serving two-year terms (with potential extension), attending quarterly board meetings, monthly check-ins, and an annual retreat (in Seattle or D.C.). Members are also expected to donate or raise a minimum of $5,000.
