Responsibilities:
• The Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) is a full clinical member of the health care team and is considered the lead expert in Spiritual Care issues. • Provides services for the pastoral and spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff members. • Knowledgeable in theology, spirituality, and pastoral care.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Required Certification is NAJC (National Association of Jewish Chaplains) or APC (Association of Professional Chaplains) or NACC (National Association of Catholic Chaplains). • Required Education is a Masters Degree from and Accredited University in Theology Related (4 units, 1600 hours of Clinical Pastoral Education). • Ecclesiastical endorsement. • Board Certification required.
