LumaPaths Behavioral Services, PLLC (LPBS) is a behavior modification company that specializes in the treatment of children affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related disorders. These services are founded on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which is the only approach of behavioral treatment that is research based, proven, and empirically validated by the scientific community. LPBS is focused on providing the best clinical services possible to support and advance our clients and families to reach their fullest potentials. We offer in-home, center, school, community setting, individual or group therapy. LumaPaths provides behavior intervention services to children ages 18 months to 16 years of age affected by ASD and other related disorders.
We are proud to be partnered with the Eliza Hope Foundation whose goal is to offer a multi-service center-based program for children with special needs. The mission of the foundation is to provide support and services for children and families with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special needs within a therapeutic day program which offers multi-disciplinary services, individual and group therapy programs, and special interest activities. The Eliza Hope Foundation's vision is for no parent to ever have to struggle to find a therapeutic day program for their child with special needs.
Supervisor Job Description
Direct Care
Provide direct one to one therapy in-home, center, school, and community settings
Complete scheduling in CodeMetro/NPA Works (inputting and rendering appointments)
Collect data in data collection system (Catalyst)
Collect parent signatures at the end of every session (SOAP Note in Catalyst)
Complete session notes daily before the end of your session (SOAP Note in Catalyst)
Clean up your environment upon the end of a session
Preparing stimuli if needed
Maintaining strong and positive communication with your families, caregivers, other providers, and community partners in relation to clients
Communicate problems, questions, or concerns to administration or directors in a timely manner
Attend monthly meetings, trainings, etc.
Supervisor
Supervise Behavior Technicians by observing, praising, critiquing, and providing corrective feedback on the implementation of behavioral services
Provide the appropriate level of supervision of BTs as required per the BACB and funding sources per case
Conduct intakes with new clients
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) or Functional Analyses (FAs)
Develop and maintain client's programming from intake to implementation, including all assessments, developing treatment plans, and behavior plans
Communicate with the client's parents, caregivers, other providers, and/or community partners regarding programming and treatment plans
Develop, conduct, and coordinate the parent training
Develop and conduct team meetings
Ensure that all hours are being provided to the clients and families with few or no cancelations and that BTs are following their scheduled commitments
Attend IEP meetings at parent request
Submit progress or ongoing continuation of services reports before or on the due date according to the report schedule provided by the Directors (usually 1 month before the end of the authorization)
Ensure that all programming, data, and behavior plans are created, individualized, maintained, and updated as needed
Conduct BT evaluations for each supervised therapist
Communicate parental concerns and needs immediately via phone, e-mail, or scheduled meeting with Directors
Maintain consistent communication with the Directors on a weekly basis
