QUALIFICATIONS
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Minimum 10 years of BMC AR (Action Request System) experience.
  • Strong experience with enterprise ITSM architecture and integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT operations, Business Service Management, and ITIL frameworks.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system environments across multiple platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Certifications Required

  • BMC Certified Professional (required)
  • BMC Certified Associate (required)
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
    • BMC Remedy ITSM 7.x (or higher) certifications in:
    – Incident & Problem Management
    – Asset Management & Discovery

Additional Requirements

  • Experience supporting Air Force RMF and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Must be able to travel, including air travel, as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for integrating BMC products with internal and third-party systems (e.g., Active Directory, AF Directory Services).
  • Architect and troubleshoot BMC Remedy environments across platforms including F5, Unix, Windows, and Solaris.
  • Manage and maintain foundation data to ensure system architecture integrity and scalability.
  • Define and articulate BMC system configurations aligned with EITSM program requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across multiple organizations and customer groups.
  • Conduct peer reviews and code reviews to ensure compliance with system requirements and standards.
  • Apply ITIL principles and best practices to improve IT service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation, including system specifications, user guides, and architecture designs.
  • Program, test, document, and implement system enhancements prior to production release.
  • Analyze technical issues and provide recommendations, alternatives, and risk assessments.
  • Support Air Force Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including artifact development and system remediation for Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • Recommend and implement best practices to streamline system applications and support platform upgrades and migrations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
