What We Are Looking For

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; technical training is preferred. A minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing or finishing experience is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to follow work instructions, proficient in using precision measuring tools, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate sandblasting and tumbling equipment to achieve required surface finishes on medical components.
  • Perform blasting operations to remove burrs, surface imperfections, and contaminants while meeting product specifications.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and identify defects using visual inspection and precision measuring tools.
  • Rework nonconforming parts through blasting and tumbling processes or report quality concerns when parts cannot be brought into specification.
  • Follow process travelers, work instructions, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
  • Maintain blasting equipment and a clean, organized, and safe work area, and perform other duties as assigned.
