The Biomedical Technician III role within the Clinical Engineering department at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center supports the safe and effective use of medical, surgical, and research equipment across patient care environments. The Biomedical Technician III plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and continuity of clinical operations, with primary onsite support at the Northwest Surgery Center and travel as needed to other outpatient locations.

The ideal candidate for the Biomedical Technician III role has an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Technology or Electronic Engineering, hands-on biomedical technology experience supporting medical devices, and strong communication skills. Experience supporting operating room medical devices is preferred, along with a demonstrated ability to work independently, manage service coordination across multiple sites, and provide effective customer-focused technical support.
The salary range for this position is Minimum $39.66 per hour - Midpoint $49.52 per hour - Maximum $59.38 per hour, based on a 40-hour work week. The work location is primarily onsite at the Northwest Surgery Center, with travel required as needed to support additional outpatient locations.
