r**Posting Summary**

Repair, calibrate, install, and perform preventive maintenance on a
variety of complex medical instruments. Perform duties including repair
service, performance inspection, and customer support in the management
of clinical technology. May operate University Vehicle on/off campus
when making site visits.

r**Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and
experience)**
r
Associate\'s degree in a related or specialized field and one to two
years\' related experience required. Certification as Biomedical
Equipment Technician (CBET) or ability to obtain required. A valid
driver\'s license or ability to obtain and driver\'s check may be
required.

r**Desirable Qualifications**
rCertification as a Biomedical Equipment Technician desirable.
r
r**Anticipated Pay Range**
r\$24-\$32 per hour
r

r**Special Conditions**
rNon-standard work hours required, A probationary period may be
required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt
position, may result in overtime), Travel to and from worksites
required, This position is ineligible for telework due to the essential

pre-employment (POPE test) physical examination is required
